And did you get what
you wanted from this life, even so?
I did.
And what did you want?
To call myself beloved, to feel myself
beloved on the earth.

In Certain Circles, Two is a Crowd

NY Times' article on personal space is very interesting. Love the illustration. It mentioned that in some virtual communities such as Second Life, they've even considered personal spaces–– this is how important this is to us:
“The fact that they show up in the virtual world shows how deeply ingrained they are,” said Nick Yee, a graduate student in the department of communication at Stanford University and a lead author of the study along with Jeremy N. Bailenson, his adviser. “We don’t think about them. They’re very unconscious.”
[side note:]
I just realize if you highlight a word on the page and double-click, the definition of the world would show up in a separate window for you. I love it--how convenient!

Tap Water
This is what people can do, what designers are capable of doing-- amazing.
I really want to bring my last project, which is about drinking water, out once it's been touched up.
My next project now is about our elderly and people with mobility impairment.
Currently I am having trouble to have people to interview or talk to.
But it has to go on. I hope it would make a great impact once it is out.
