The Coquitlam Reservior

Last year, I did a semester project on waters conservation.
Went on a tour today as part of the continuous study/research.
This is a 4 hour tour that began at 8am, Coquitlam Town Centre Park.

beautiful day.
our first stop.

the new dam in process.

the Coquitlam watershed

some of the sceneries

it is shocking that a little teaspoon of slit could bring
a jug of water to a "chocolate milk consistency"

this cloudiness in water is measured by Metro Vancouver
to ensure we have safe drinking water.

the reservior.
it looks huge, but, it's does not hold enough water for us all,
especially for the summer time.

the reservior.

2nd to last stop. almost at the top of the hill.

enjoying the little things around me.
the tiny yellow flowers.

the berries that are grown around a dead log.

the texture.

the almost theatrical natural lighting in the forest.

good bye.
for now anyways
— i would love to return.
